The exhibition “Animals in Art” at Arken will show sculptures and installations, video, photography and paintings by a wide array of international artists. Trine Søndergaard works donated to Museum Salling
The New Carlsberg Foundation has made a large work donation to Museum Salling. The entirety of Trine Søndergaard’s series “Hovedtøj” from 2019, consisting of 17 photographs depicting women with traditional, regional headgear, has been donated to the museum.

Ebbe Stub Wittrup: Solo show at Copenhagen Contemporary
In the exhibition Botanical Drift, the artist Ebbe Stub Wittrup addresses national identity and cultural ownership. As the artist follows in the footsteps of the Danish botanist Nathaniel Wallich, a narrative emerges on Western economy and scientific logic as opposed to local knowledge and experience.

Eva Koch at Nivaagaard
Nivaagaard will exhibit Eva Koch’s ground-breaking video installation VILLAR (2001) in 2020. The interactive installation tells the story of the artist Eva Koch’s mother, who was adopted during the Spanish Civil War, with the work thus spawning reflections on migration, war and identity.

Adam Jeppesen’s new book “Error, Object, Structure” comprises more than a decade of Adam Jeppesen’s work. Everyone is welcome to participate in the reception, which takes place in Martin Asbæk Gallery on Wednesday, November 20 at 16-18. There will be an artist talk with Adam Jeppesen as well as book signing.

Nicolai Howalt in group exhibition
The Parisian Galerie Maria Lund will host the exhibition “Migrations” which features works from Nicolai Howalt’s Silver Migration series alongside two other Danish artists, Esben Klemann and Pipaluk Lake. The show opens Saturday, November 16 and continues until January 11.
