The group exhibition Synliggørelser (eng. “Renderings”) deals with matters moving on the edge of our perception, and includes works of art that explore scientific topics invisible in nature and yet vital to our lives. The exhibition will feature Nicolai Howalt’s work “Light Break”.
The New Carlsberg Foundation has made a large work donation to Museum Salling. The entirety of Trine Søndergaard’s series “Hovedtøj” from 2019, consisting of 17 photographs depicting women with traditional, regional headgear, has been donated to the museum.
In the exhibition Botanical Drift, the artist Ebbe Stub Wittrup addresses national identity and cultural ownership. As the artist follows in the footsteps of the Danish botanist Nathaniel Wallich, a narrative emerges on Western economy and scientific logic as opposed to local knowledge and experience.
