The solo show entitled ”The Great Filter” is made specifically for the exhibition room at Brandts in Odense. Perishing sandcastles are the main motifs; Resembling ruins, these semi-collapsed structures still retain their beauty, thereby alluding to impermanence as not only a natural process but also as an existential premise.
Photographic works by Trine Søndergaard will be a part of “The Human Expression”, an upcoming group exhibition at Frederikshavn Kunstmuseum. The exhibition centers around the portrait genre and will feature works from the Guldnakke series, among others.
In the exhibition Medium Rare, 13 different artists working in video, painting, installation and performance, focus on the materiality of the flesh and the body as a vehicle of meaning. It all takes place, rather aptly, in the Meatpacking District, Copenhagen.
